The Expansion Kit has been designed for the First Flush Boost to increase your diversion volume by 20L (5gal) at a time. You can install up to two of them, to bring your total diversion volume to 40L (10gal) or 60L (15gal) total.

The Expansion Kit needs to be installed at the time of initial install, so order this with your First Flush Boost. The parts simply glue together with PVC cement.

Improve the quality of water you capture in your tank by increasing the volume of water you divert.
Diverting more water from the First Flush will generally yield better quality water in your tank. But only to a certain point, because otherwise you will waste too much water! We generally recommend to divert a maximum of the first 2mm of rainfall on your roof. You can do the calculation here to see whether it's beneficial for you to use the Expansion Kit.
