The perfect addition to any rainwater system (especially to periodically drain wet or charged lines). Since the valve is designed with standard pipe fittings, it's suitable for any application where the sealing force is up to 210kPa (30psi).

The stiff stainless steel paddle can be closed mid-flow (up to 60kPa / 8psi) which gives you greater control in shutting off or diverting active water flows. So, not only can you completely drain your line if necessary, but you can also partially drain lines, which gives you greater control over how you use your water.
