Tank Pre Filtration

Pre-filtration devices are critical to the Rain Harvesting process and should be installed at each downpipe that supplies rainwater to the tank. These devices improve water quality, protect pumps and household appliances, and reduce tank maintenance by keeping leaves, debris and other pollutants out of the rainwater tank.

Rain Heads from Rain Harvesting prevent leaves and debris from blocking gutters and entering downpipes, and keep mosquitoes, pests and other vermin out of the pipe system to the tank.

First Flush Water Diverters improve water quality, reduce tank maintenance and protect pumps by preventing the first flush of water, which may contain contaminants from the roof, from entering the tank.

Filter Pits handle large volumes of rainwater and enable screening to be done at a central point in the system. In some cases they can be safer and easier to clean than rain heads fitted at roof gutters.
